AND destroys seized narcotics from 43 cases

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Wednesday destroyed drugs that had been seized in 43 cases. 

The PSD said that 12,823,175 Captagon pills, 2,663 kilogrammes of hashish, 1,300 kilogrammes of synthetic hashish, 40,700 kilogrammes of marijuana, three kilogrammes of cocaine, 1,260 kilogrammes of crystal and 4,500 kilogrammes of synthetic cannabis powder were destroyed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The PSD affirmed its keenness to ensure cooperation and coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, security agencies and the Jordan Customs Department in operations and intelligence to ensure the materials are prevented from entering and passing through the Kingdom's territory.
