AMMAN — The Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE) on Sunday launched its “Strategic Plan 2017-2019” at an event held in Amman in partnership with IM Swedish Development Partner, according to a statement released on Sunday by the organisation.
ANHRE’s new strategy entails mainstreaming gender and human rights, including the rights of disabled people “and this will be reflected later on inclusive programmes, policies, procedures and systems”, the statement said.
The new plan is aimed at addressing the new needs stemming from the change in the human rights context in the Arab world.
