ATF launches book on relationship between gov’t and religion

AMMAN — The Arab Thought Forum (ATF) on Sunday held a ceremony to launch a book titled “Lost Freedoms in Autocracy and Exploitation of Religion — Origins and Salvation” by professor of law and former minister, Mohammad Hammouri, according to an ATF statement.
Divided into four chapters, the book covers issues related to freedom of thought, relationships between power and religion, governance, accountability of power. Former health minister Zaid Hamzah attended the launching ceremony.
