Bridgewater university delegation visits Jordan Press Foundation

AMMAN — A delegation from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts on Tuesday visited the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Press Foundation Ayman Majali at the foundation, where he showcased its development and various subsidiaries that include The Jordan Times newspaper as well as Al Rai’s newspaper, research centre and media training centre.
Majali underlined the foundation’s role in training qualified media personnel and their role within the industry.
As part of a cooperation agreement between Al Rai Research Centre and the university the two parties discussed cooperation in the field of media training and the diploma programmes the centre intends to launch next summer.
Bridgewater State University also has agreements with Al Tafileh Technical University and Al Yarmouk University to provide annual master’s scholarships to their students.
