Cabinet appoints general director of SSC, head of SSIF

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers, chaired by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, on Sunday decided to appoint Hazim Rahahleh as director general of the Social Security Corporation (SSC), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Rahahleh holds a PhD degree in economics and has 18 years of experience at the SSC and World Bank, in addition to holding other supervisory and leadership positions at related governmental departments in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The Cabinet also decided to appoint Kholoud Saqqaf as the head of the Social Security Investment Fund.
Picked among 10 candidates, Saqqaf achieved the highest score in the evaluation by the ministerial committee under the employment policy to leadership positions. Saqqaf holds an MA degree in economy and statistics and as well as more than 30 years of supervisory and leadership experience at the Central Bank, Arab Bank and Jordan Insurance Committee.
