Cabinet approves Transport Sector Strategy

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Transport Sector Strategy for 2024-2028, aimed to establish a comprehensive framework for planning the transport sector.  The initiative's main objective is to achieve a universal and sustainable transport system in line with the Economic Modernisation Vision and its Executive Programme for the period 2023-2025, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The strategy is designed to address the evolving landscape of the transport sector, taking into account the changes and challenges it has faced in recent years, as well as enhance the sector's contribution to economic activity.
