CDD chief meets Austrian official over civil defence cooperation

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department Director (CDD) Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiha on Thursday discussed with the Austrian security attaché, Gen. Franz Eberliner cooperation between the civil defence departments of the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Bazaiha affirmed the deep relations between Jordan and Austria, especially in the fields of civil defence and protection.

For his part, the Austrian security attaché said that his country is ready to provide equipment to the CDD, praising the "distinctive" progress that the CDD achieved in all fields.
