CDD extinguishes fires in Muqabalin warehouse, home in Wadi Tawahin

AMMAN — Northern Amman Civil Defence Department (CDD) firefighters on Thursday extinguished a fire that started in a warehouse for storing plastic items in Muqabalin, according to a CDD statement.
The firefighters were able to control the fire and prevented it from spreading, resulting in zero casualties, the media office of the CDD added. Also on Thursday, Ajloun CDD personnel put out a fire that started in a house in Wadi Tawahin area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The fire damaged all contents of the house, but no injuries were registered, Ajloun CDD Director Col. Hani Smadi said, adding that an investigation was ongoing to identify the cause of the fire.
