Classes suspended due to ceiling collapse in Deir Alla school

SALT — The ceiling of a classroom in Dirar Bin Al Azwar School in the Deir Alla District collapsed at dawn on Sunday.
Classes were suspended and the children were sent home as a precautionary measure, the district’s education director Mohammad Khreisat said.
The school’s 350 students will be temporarily transferred to the adjacent Khawlah Bint Al Azwar School, with lessons taking place in the evening, until a permanent solution is reached, he added.
