AMMAN — The Constitutional Court rejected an appeal claiming the unconstitutionality of Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 191 of the Civil Procedure Code No. 24 of 1988, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The two paragraphs relate to the impermissibility of appealing verdicts issued by the Courts of Appeal in cases whose value is less than JD10,000, except with the approval of the President of the Court of Cassation or an authorised deputy.
The two paragraphs do not violate their constitutional purposes, the court said.
