Crown Prince attends Jordan Camel Race Festival closing ceremony

AQABA — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Thursday attended the closing ceremony of the Jordan Camel Racing Festival, held at Sheikh Zayed Racetrack in the Disi region. 

Crown Prince Al Hussein, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Feisal, honoured the owners of the 21 race winners, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Royal Highness also presented prizes to the top three winners in the Nabataean poetry competition held on the sidelines of the festival, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture.

The festival, which was held over two days as part of the festivities marking Jordan’s state centennial, included guests of honour from a number of friendly countries.
