Dentists to participate in Damascus conference next month

AMMAN — The Jordan Dental Association (JDA) will participate in Damascus’ 19th International Scientific Dental Conference next month.

JDA spokesperson Omar Qawasmi, said in a press statement on Friday, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the JDA's participation in the conference aligns with the deep-rooted relations between the dental unions in Jordan and Syria, and with the JDA's support for the Syrian dentists' conference.

Qawasmi pointed out that JDA has booked a bus that will accompany the delegation when travelling to Syria via the Jaber/Nasib border crossing which was recently reopened.
