Deputising for King, Safadi attends Turkish president’s inauguration ceremony

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi on Saturday attended the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for a new presidential term. 

Safadi conveyed His Majesty's greetings and best wishes to President Erdogan to continue leading Turkey for further progress and prosperity, according to a Foreign Ministry statement. 

The minister also conveyed King Abdullah's keenness to continue working with the Turkish president to enhance "brotherly" relations between the two countries in all fields.
