Digital Economy Ministry reports 45% increase in E-government services

AMMAN — The total number of e-government services has reached 1077, reflecting a 45 per cent increase compared with last year, according to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. The ministry also highlighted significant achievements in digital transformation, including the establishment and launch of the unified national registry for government services on the government application “Sanad”, and the circular on the Government institutions to adopt the unified registry to manage their service records, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. An updated version of "Sanad" was also launched, boasting 1,705,279 accounts and 770,910 activated digital identities through civil ID or fingerprint.
