Economic and Social Council, UNDP sign cooperation agreement

AMMAN — The Economic and Social Council (ESC) and UNDP on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the exchange of expertise and bolster cooperation towards realising the sustainable development goals.
Signed by President of the ESC Mousa Shteiwi and Resident Representative of UNDP in Jordan Randa Abu Al Hosn, the memo aims at conducting panel discussions and sustainable development-related studies, to ensure consistency with the national policies, notably the Economic Modernisation Vision, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ESC focuses on forging agreements with strategic partners to enhance constructive dialogue, mainly over the key economic and social issues, policies and decisions.
