AMMAN — The EU is currently holding a workshop to build the management capacity of 20 Civil Service Bureau officials, according to a recent EU statement. The trainings are part of the EU-funded META Jo2025 Project, and aim to teach government officials how to train their colleagues in human resources management and public sector performance.
“Effective performance management is essential to government organisations and is all about managing the many complexities of delivering results.
It helps them align their employees, resources and systems to meet their strategic objectives, and allows managers to know when to make adjustments to keep things on track,” EU Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Matteo Fontana said in the statement.
The workshops are being taught by professors Bernard Coulaty, Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts and Francois Railliet from the HEC School of Business in Paris.
