EU conducts information session for Jordanian companies

AMMAN — The EU Delegation in Jordan, in cooperation with the Jordan Investors Association, organised an Information Session on “Seizing new export opportunities under the Simplified Rules of Origin Agreement between Jordan and the EU”, according to an EU statement released on Wednesday.

The event took place at the King Abdullah II Industrial Estate in Sahab. The companies participating in the information session were identified as eligible under the Rules of Origin Agreement and had declared interest in learning more about the opportunities that the new scheme offers to Jordanian companies wishing to export to Europe, the statement said. The information session was conducted by EU officials from Brussels and other representatives from the private sector.
