EU delegation visits business incubator in northern Jordan

AMMAN — An EU delegation on Monday toured Luminus ShamalStart, a business incubator and seed investor  in northern Jordan, according to a statement by Luminus ShamalStart, which noted that the incubator was funded and launched in cooperation with the EU to promote innovation and support for local entrepreneurs.

The delegation was led by first counselor and head of cooperation, Corinne Andre, who met with Irbid director, Loay Malahmeh, and Luminus ShamalStart manager, Ibrahim Faza.

The delegation toured the first digital fabrication laboratory in Jordan, one of the largest of its kind worldwide. The organisation had supported 100 start-ups in various fields, including renewable energy, healthcare and the environment.
