Fayez, Emirati ambassador talk ties

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Emirati Ambassador to Jordan Ahmed Ali Balushi on Monday discussed means of furthering Jordanian-Emirati relations in various fields.

During the meeting, Fayez highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the two countries, describing them as “strategic on all levels” and based on mutual respect. The Senate president lauded UAE’s supportive stance to Jordan.

Talks also went over the current regional developments, notably the peace process, referring to means of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The Emirati envoy commended the high level of Jordanian-UAE ties, stressing that mutual relations are intended to serve the best interests of the two peoples and issues of common interest.
