Fils Al Reef committee approves 327 sites for electricity connection

AMMAN — The High Steering Committee for Fils Al Reef on Monday approved the lists of houses and sites that will benefit from electricity connection through conventional networks.

The approved lists encompassed approximately 327 houses and sites, which were successfully connected during the previous month, with a total cost amounting to JD1.009 million. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al Kharabsheh, who is also the president of the committee, said that the committee has approved a range of projects and sites that will receive electricity connection funded by Fils Al Reef.

These projects include residential communities and economic activities, reflecting an expansion in the provision of this essential service as per amendments to the principles governing the funding of electricity connection through Fils Al Reef, according to a ministry statement.
