Fire at Wihdat warehouses extinguished

AMMAN — East Amman Civil Defence Department (CDD), in cooperation with firefighters in west Amman and Zarqa, and the Central Region Rescue and Support Department on Friday extinguished a blaze that erupted in four warehouses where industrial and carpentry equipment were stored in Wihdat.

The fire extended over a total area of 400 square metres in a two-storey complex, according to the CDD’s media centre, which added that no injuries were reported. An investigation into the incident is under way.
