Firefighters extinguish timber factory fire in 6 hours

AMMAN – Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel needed six hours to extinguish a fire that erupted in a 5,000 square kilometre timber factory in Sahab on Thursday.
More than 55 fire engines were used to put out the fire, according to the CDD, which noted that a committee was formed to identify the cause of the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
