AMMAN — The first charter flight from Sweden’s Malmo Airport landed on Sunday at the King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.

The flight carried 189 Swedish tourists, with the company announcing a weekly charter programme of 30 trips until June 2015, where the visitors will spend seven nights in Aqaba hotels.

Sharhabil Madi, investment and economic affairs commissioner in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), said these flights are a result of incentives offered to companies operating charter flights, according to an ASEZA statement.
