Five-day water stoppage announced for next week — Water Ministry

AMMAN — The Water Ministry, Water Authority of Jordan and the Disi Water Company (DIWACO) on Saturday announced a stoppage in pumping Disi water from Sunday, November 21 until Thursday, November 25 to conduct scheduled maintenance on the water grid. The ministry said that the stoppage is meant to ensure the sustainability of pumping water to all areas and subscribers. The ministry noted that the stoppage will partially affect certain areas in Amman, Zarqa and Ruseifa, according to a ministry statement. The ministry called on citizens to prepare for the pumping stoppage and save enough water for the stoppage period.
