FM, in phone call with Iraqi counterpart, expresses condolences over victims of Baghdad terror attacks

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Thursday telephoned Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for International Affairs and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and expressed condolences over the victims of two terrorist attacks in Baghdad earlier in the day.
Wishing the injured a speedy recovery, Safadi also stressed Jordan’s denouncement of “this heinous terrorist crime” and the Kingdom’s solidarity with Iraq in facing terrorism, according to a ministry statement.
The minister said that Jordan fully supports the Iraqi government’s efforts in protecting the security and stability of the country.
The two ministers also agreed to sustain coordination and cooperation in the joint war against terrorism.
