Freihat meets Saudi religious delegation over cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Tuesday met with Director General of Religious Affairs Department for Saudi Arabian Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Mohammad Saadan, and an accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Freihat and Saadan discussed the latest regional and international developments and cooperation between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, especially in the military field. Also on Tuesday, Freihat met with a delegation from the National Defence College of the UAE and discussed military cooperation between the two countries. He awarded the UAE’s Military Attaché Brig. Gen. Ahmad Saudi with the Order of Merit of Second Class.
