GAM removes 1,000 cars from capital since start of 2017

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has removed around 1,000 abandoned vehicles from the capital’s streets since the start of this year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.

Executive Director of Construction Control Raed Haddadin said that the removal of the vehicles was based on regular inspection tours in Amman, through reports to GAM, or complaints to the Construction Control Department. GAM urged the public to report any isolated or abandoned vehicles in their area to avoid health hazards.
