‘Gendarmerie Department looks to benefit from Romanian expertise’

AMMAN — Jordan and Romania on Thursday discussed ways to enhance training cooperation between the Gendarmerie Department and its Romanian counterpart.
At a meeting with Romanian Ambassador to Jordan Bogdan Filip, Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Sweilmin said the department has signed a cooperation agreement with its Romanian counterpart to exchange expertise.
Filip praised the “advanced level” of Gendarmerie Department personnel.
