Goodwill campaign looks to further cooperation with food traders

AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development’s (JOHUD) National Goodwill Campaign held a meeting with the Foodstuff Traders Association (FTA) on Sunday to establish a partnership to extend food assistance to needy families.
The meeting, attended by HRH Princess Basma, president of the campaign’s higher committee, and FTA President Khalil Haj Tawfiq, is part of several organised by the campaign to boost its partnership with various sectors.
Princess Basma stressed the importance of institutionalised charitable work to ensure its sustainability, and to develop a programme for distributing food aid to the needy across the Kingdom.
She expressed her appreciation of the role of food traders.
