Halasa began the tour with the first-phase prototype school, which has additional classrooms and a kindergarten.
The first phase includes 27 schools worth JD20 million. Halasa said that work is completed in most schools and furnishing is under way with a USAID grant.
The tour also checked on the second phase of the project, which includes 65 schools worth JD40 million. Halasa added that the ministry-USAID cooperation includes building 12 new schools with a cost of JD28 million.
