Hawatmeh meets Kuwaiti, French ambassadors over security cooperation

AMMAN — Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Thursday met separately with Kuwaiti Ambassador Aziz Dihani and French Ambassador David Bertolotti on means to enhance security cooperation with the diplomats’ respective countries, specifically in fields related to exchanging technical and training expertise.
Dihani commended the “deep-rooted” Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations, expressing his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation between the Gendarmerie Department and its Kuwaiti counterpart, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Meanwhile, Bertolotti praised the good reputation of the department, highlighting the importance of enhancing security cooperation between the two countries.
