Health minister checks on injured doctors

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Thursday visited Prince Hamzah Hospital to check on the condition of two doctors who were injured in a traffic accident on Safawi Road.
Hospital Director Mazen Naghway briefed Sheyyab on the doctors’ health condition, noting that one of the doctors, who is in stable condition, sustained fractures in the skull and injuries in other parts of the body, and will undergo surgery, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The other doctor received mild injuries and is under medical supervision, Naghway added. Also on Thursday, Sheyyab visited the West Amman Blood Bank to check on maintenance work, Petra, reported. The bank provides blood units to over 30 private hospitals.
