Hundreds march in Montrael against extremism

AMMAN — Hundreds of Jordanians and Canadians participated in a march in Montreal on Thursday, where temperatures were as low as -14°C, to denounce the killing of air force pilot Muath Kasasbeh.
MBC Network Regional Manager Saad Silawi, Jordanian director Eyad El Khzouz and political activist Thaer Hanna participated in the march, according to a statement sent to The Jordan Times.
Participants held candles in memory of Kasasbeh and called for unity in the fight against the so-called Islamic State in the field and against extremist ideologies.
