IEC to hold workshop for candidates

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) will conduct a five-day training workshop on candidacy procedures starting on Monday, the commission said in a statement released Sunday.

The workshop aims to help participants gain the necessary knowledge on candidacy processes and the required standards to submit a candidacy form. It will also cover the rights and duties of observers, according to IEC Spokesperson Jihad Momani.
