IMA® Signs MoU with PSUT to Offer Professional Certification in Finance and Accounting 

AMMAN — IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) and Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in an effort to further academic, educational and professional initiatives in Jordan. 

As part of the partnership, PSUT will offer CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification to students and young professionals alike in the region, according to a joint statement.

For nearly 50 years, the CMA has been the global benchmark for management accountants and financial professionals.

IMA’s CMA certification programme is an advanced-level assessment for accounting and finance professionals in business covering financial planning, performance and analytics, and strategic financial management, according to the statement. 

The MoU recognises the mutual benefits in cooperation and the development of closer relationships between IMA and PSUT. It will assist in enhancing the learning experiences of students and young professionals by offering access to expertise and facilities of both organisations, the statement said.

The MoU was signed by PSUT President Mashhoor Al Refai and Hanadi Khalife, Senior Director of MEA & India operations at IMA, and will be in effect for a duration of two years.
