AMMAN — Amid the coronavirus crisis, INJAZ has launched a free e-learning platform for university and college students.

In a statement on Monday, INJAZ CEO Deema Bibi said that the educational platform, which can be accessed at injazjo.com, aims to serve a large number of university and college students by providing programmes for enhancing their skills and abilities in the fields of entrepreneurship, community leadership, technical intelligence and life skills, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The platform includes instructional videos and interactive sessions between students and trained volunteers, the CEO said, noting that the platform has witnessed a large turnout since its launch.

Work is ongoing to develop the platform to provide programmes for grade school students, she added.

INJAZ is also collaborating with the Ministry of Education to record the Financial Education curriculum for the 11th and 12th grades, to be broadcast on the Jordan Sports Channel and Darsak online educational platform.

This move aims to ensure the continuation of the education process for school students in light of the coronavirus crisis, according to an INJAZ statement.

This cooperation comes within the strategic partnership between INJAZ, the Central Bank of Jordan, the Ministry of Education, Al Hussein Fund for Excellence, Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, the Association of Banks in Jordan and a group of educational experts to implement the Financial Education curriculum for grades seven to 12 in all schools across the Kingdom, the statement noted.
