AMMAN — The Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) on Tuesday expressed its surprise over the “cooling of relations” between the Prime Ministry and professional associations, according to a JEA statement.
JEA President Abdullah Obeidat said there have been no new meetings between Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and syndicate representatives to discuss public affairs, noting that the professional associations have many demands that need to be addressed.
Meanwhile, Planning and International Cooperation Minister Ibrahim Saif met with Obeidat to discuss the ministry’s readiness to boost cooperation.
