Irish ambassador visits PSUT

AMMAN — President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) Mashhoor Al Refai and Irish Ambassador in Amman Vincent O'Neill have discussed ways to enhance and support cooperation between the university, scientific research institutions and Irish universities.
They went over means to boost cooperation through the establishment of joint technology programmes, agreements, participation in training programmes and cultural exchange programmes, according to a PSUT statement.
During the meeting Refai highlighted PSUT's keenness to realise the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya, chair of its board of trustees, in international networking.
The ambassador expressed his pleasure at being able to visit the university, praising the depth of relations between the “two friendly countries”, and the good academic reputation that PSUT enjoys in the region and the world. He expressed his hope to consolidate cooperative relations with Irish universities and institutions.
