Japan presents ‘Akie Library’ to JICA Alumni Association Jordan

AMMAN — The JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Alumni Association Jordan (JAAJ) received on Thursday the Akie Library as a gift presented by Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Shuichi Sakurai.
At a meeting with JAAJ President Yousef Maadi, the ambassador said Akie Abe, the wife of Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, distributes Japanese books to associations throughout her travels abroad to spread Japanese language and culture.
