AMMAN — The Jordanian National Centre for Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Control (JCDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday discussed implementing the health information technology projects mentioned in the final draft of the centre's strategy to support the national digital health strategy.

Raeda Qutob, head of the centre, said that the meeting intended to enhance coordination between the two organisations, and to list the projects on the centre's strategy in coordination with the Health Ministry and other stakeholders, according to a statement from the centre. Qutob noted that these projects aim to advance the use of digital solutions for public health and for early, pre-response plan disease detection.
