AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) plans to expand the Jordanian Amal Elementary School in Sarajevo, JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said on Monday.
The only Arab school in the Balkan state will have a third floor and be turned into a secondary school in light of the increasing number of students, Mifleh said.
The school currently has 135 students and 18 teachers from both Bosnian and Arab communities and the number of students is expected to rise to 260.
The school was founded in 1996-97.
