JHCO, JAF send 45 trucks of aid to Gaza on Eid Al Adha eve

AMMAN — A new humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 45 trucks has arrived for people in the Gaza Strip on the eve of Eid Al Adha.
The convoy was dispatched by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), with the support of several organisations, companies, and institutions, according to a JHCO statement. 

The convoy carried basic food items and flour, which will be distributed to people in Gaza through partner associations and organisations in the besieged strip.
Secretary-General of JHCO Hussein Shibli said that the humanitarian role carried out by the organisation embodies the Royal vision and highlights Jordan's role in providing assistance to Gazans.
 
He also said that the organisation will continue sending aid to Gaza it receives from various countries, organisations, institutions, and humanitarian agencies.
Shibli said that the total number of land trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip is 1,970, along with 53 planes through El-Arish.
