JHCO sends 20-truck aid convoy to Gaza

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Saturday dispatched a 20-truck convoy laden with humanitarian aid to Gaza.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said 12 trucks are carrying food packages, medical equipment and wheelchairs donated by local institutions and associations, and will be delivered to the Jordanian field hospital in the strip for distribution to beneficiaries.
He noted that the other eight trucks are loaded with carpets and UNRWA will supervise the distribution process.
Also on Saturday, the field hospital distributed 740 schoolbags to children from Bani Suhaila town, who expressed their gratitude to the Kingdom for the donation.
