Jordan condemns Houthi attack on Saudi border village

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Sunday condemned the Houthi militia’s attack on a border village in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the injury of civilians. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez wished the injured a speedy recovery, reiterating the Kingdom's rejection of such "cowardly" attacks, according to a ministry statement.
He also voiced Jordan's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support to the kingdom in the face any threats to its security and the safety of its people. Fayez also stressed that the security of the two kingdoms is “intertwined and that any threat to the security of Riyadh is a threat to the entire region”.
