AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Tuesday condemned in the harshest terms the Israeli air strike that targeted Al Ahli Arabi Baptist Hospital in Gaza, holding Israel, the occupying power, responsible for this serious escalation. The ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, said the Kingdom rejects and denounces this act, which contradicts all human and moral values, and the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the Fourth Geneva Convention relating to the rules of war. The spokesperson called for providing international protection for the Palestinian people, stressing the need to rally efforts to immediately stop the raging war in Gaza. The ministry expressed Jordan's deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery.
