Jordan denounces Houthi attempts to target civilians in Saudi Arabia

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Monday denounced the terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to target civilian areas in Saudi Arabia, the most recent of which is launching a bomb-laden drone towards Khamis Mushait City, Saudi Arabia, which was intercepted by coalition forces.

Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez reiterated the Kingdom’s condemnation of this dangerous and systematic escalation, voicing Amman’s unaltered stance that denounces such recurrent terrorist acts in targeting civilian areas, which forms a blatant violation of all international laws, according to a ministry statement.

He also voiced the Kingdom’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all procedures it takes to defend its security, stressing that the security of the two kingdoms is one and that any threat to Saudi Arabia is a threat to the stability and security of the entire region.
