Jordan energy summit to return to Amman

AMMAN — The Jordan International Energy Summit (JIES) will be held in Amman for its fourth edition on December 10 and 11, according to a statement released by the JIES.
It will be held under the patronage of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati and organised by iJordan and Global Event Partners.
According to the statement, the event will allow energy professionals and investors to share knowledge of Jordan’s energy sector.
Previous JIES events have included announcements of future projects and hosted around 400 participants.
They have also included several signings of memorandums between international companies and the Jordanian Government. The statement added that planned projects would be announced at the event.
