Jordan expresses condolences to India over stampede

AMMAN — Jordan on Wednesday expressed its condolences to the government and people of India following the tragic stampede that took place on Tuesday during a religious event in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in various deaths and injuries, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Sufian Qudah, the ministry’s spokesperson, conveyed the Kingdom's solidarity with India at this difficult time, extending his condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
