AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday will host an emergency meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee in charge of international action to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The meeting will focus on discussing the dangerous Israeli escalation in Al Aqsa Mosque, ways to stop it and restore calm.
Chaired by Jordan, the committee includes Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Qatar, Egypt, and Morocco.
The UAE will also partake in the meeting as the Arab member of the UN Security Council, as well as the Secretary General of the Arab League.
Thursday’s discussion will be part of the fourth meeting held by the committee since its establishment by the Ministerial Council of the Arab League last year.
The committee held its previous meeting in Cairo last September on the sidelines of the 157th regular ministerial session at the Arab League.
