Jordan-Iraq cross-border taxi drivers granted 6-month visa

AMMAN — The Ministry of Transport on Thursday allowed for Jordanian and Iraqi cross-border cabs operating on the Amman-Baghdad line to work through the Al Karamah Border crossing centre, in accordance with the accredited health protocols.
The ministry, in a statement said that it was agreed with stakeholders to grant six-month visas for the drivers of cross-border cabs, inviting Jordanian drivers to visit the Iraqi embassy in Amman to get the visas, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
